Raptors Athletics & Activities
Carlton-Wrenshall students have opportunities to get involved, build confidence, and represent the Raptors through athletics, activities, clubs, fine arts, and student organizations.
winter sports updates
Basketball season is nearly upon us. Girls basketball will begin after school November 16th in the main gym and boys basketball will begin after school in the main gym a week later on November 23rd. Girls cheerleading practice start date and time TBD.

Any students in grades 7-12 interested in participating with our co-op partner, Duluth Marshall, in boys hockey, nordic skiing, or alpine skiing needs to see the activities director, Luke Wargin, ASAP in order to get the online registration info along with expectations to participate.
​
Winter athletes/parents of winter athletes: Make sure you/your child have/has a sports qualified physical on file before practice starts for all winter sports as it is required before you can participate. See Mr. Wargin if you need help determining the date of your last sports physical.

sports physicals
Please be sure your child has a qualified sports physical on file with the school by the start of practice. Sports physicals are due every three years and are a different than well-child check-up.
If you have questions about whether your sports qualified physical is on file at school and still active, contact the athletic director at lwargin@isd2918.org

bASKETBALL refs needed
Carlton-Wrenshall is looking for JH basketball refs for the 2026-2027 basketball season.
If you are a former player or know the game well enough to make basic calls and are interested in making $40 for about an hour of your time, please reach out to the activities director, Luke Wargin, at lwargin@isd2918.org
